Wet Scrubbers are a great option for higher loadings or when loadings are highly variable. However, conventional scrubbers typically require a substantial volume of chemicals, which is a big disadvantage and can create operational issues along with the high operating costs.
Theia offers a line of “Low-Chem” wet scrubbing systems for H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) removal which utilize a non-chemical conversion process, thus greatly reducing the use of chemicals. This reduced dependence on chemicals not only reduces operating costs substantially, but also eliminates the operational and safety issues that have plagued this technology.
Theia also offers more traditional wet scrubbing systems for other applications like Ammonia removal, etc. All of our scrubbing systems for other applications like Ammonia removal, etc. All of our scrubbing systems are designed to minimize maintenance. Theia’s Wet Scrubbers utilize SRTP instead of fiberglass providing a more robust, yet more cost effective, package.
These wet scrubbers are a great complement to our dry scrubbing systems.
