Natural Augmentation

The BioCleaner system is a revolutionary, patented US technology that harnesses the power of nature to treat all types of wastewater.  The system uses specifically developed microbes that are present in a patented media and are produced on a constant basis. These microbes are combined this with a highly efficient but simple aeration technology to mix these microbes together with the oxygen throughout the tank.  The innovative technology has received ETV Verification through its work in the Philippines and has treated wastewater in many locations around the world but it is born and made in the United States. It is effective in tanks, lagoons, ponds, etc.

Augmentation and Restoration:  Theia utilizes a unique system that introduces healthy beneficial bacteria to the water which consume the organic waste including that produced by the aquatic life.  The bacteria also consume and convert some of the nitrogen compounds helping to keep a healthy balance. The bacteria consume the food, thus crowding out the cyanobacteria and other harmful strains.   

Unlike other sourced bacteria,  we deliver them in a small unit that is placed into the body of water.  The unit contains a specific inoculum of bacteria placed into stasis on a proprietary permanent media. The bacteria colony begins to reproduce as they are once again exposes to water, oxygen, and food. You buy or rent the unit ONE TIME and have bacteria for 10-20 years.

For very high levels of nutrients, we can do one time treatment to reduce the levels using our ICARUS media. 

As the balance is restored,  other organisms like Chlorella can be introduced to the water or will grow naturally.  These organisms do not form matts or blooms which suffocate the ecosystem like other algae.  They pump oxygen into the water while consuming any excess nutrients.  As their population grows, they are consumed by fish which, if not naturally occurring, can be introduced to the water and the cycle is complete.
