H2S Elimination is an important part of any water treatment process. H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) is a corrosive and dangerous gas that can range from being a nuisance to being a serious health and safety problem for sewers, water treatment, produced water, leachate or other applications.   Since its inception, Theia has been a leader in the industry with a proven record of H2S elimination. 

Theia offers treatment technologies for H2S Elimination in air and gas but our specialty is H2S elimination in water, regardless of its source, using nothing but ambient air. 

The Oxygenator system is based on a technology that has been in use for more than 40 years for H2S elimination.    We have applied the technology to:

• Wastewater treatment including sludge and septage applications 
• Landfill leachate
• Produced water 
• Drinking water
• Lakes, ponds, and lagoons.  

This simple system directly oxidizes almost any level of dissolved H2S using ambient air that is drawn in by the system itself. In addition to H2S elimination, the Oxygenator system helps prevent future formation of H2S by increasing the dissolved oxygen level of the water passing through it.
